Summer is still blazing ahead, and so are we! Here’s some news that has been making us smile throughout August.
Staff at our Eastleigh service organised a brilliant picnic event to celebrate 25 years of Two Saints.
The event was an opportunity to bring together clients from both the accommodation service and those supported in the community.
The day included a picnic spread with one staff member baking home-made cakes and another preparing cakes and icing so clients could decorate their own.
Such a fantastic day of celebrations – great job everyone!
The fantastic team at Outram Road recently held a cooking session for clients to attend, taking them on a culinary adventure while developing new skills.
Clients from multiple different houses got together to support each other in trying something new. Here’s some pictures of everyone at work in the kitchen.

Our brilliant relief staff Georgia took our client Stuart on an outing to see the new Spider-Man movie at the cinema. Stuart was very grateful as he has been very excited to see this film for quite some time.
The two had a great time together watching the movie and sharing some snacks, and finished the day with a walk around the harbour.

Blackout poetry involves taking a piece of paper with words already printed on it, perhaps the page of an old book, and then blacking out parts of the text. The remaining text left visible on the page becomes the poem.

Staff and clients in Portsmouth had the challenge of creating an art piece for the service using prompts.
Once the boards were all finished, the service held a museum style day with all of the art out on show.
Clients set up a secret vote to pick their favourite. The results were very close, but the winning board was the one pictured on the left.
Our staff have done such a brilliant job with organising this, and it was great to see all of the clients getting involved and expressing themselves creativity.
